An exciting opportunity for a markets regulatory lawyer to join a growing regulatory advisory team within a leading international financial institution with a strong UK and European presence.
This is a true advisory role for someone who enjoys grappling with complex regulatory questions, understanding regulatory intent, and helping the business apply regulation in practice.

The role
You will provide non‑contentious markets regulatory advice, working closely with documentation teams, compliance and the front office to ensure trading activity can proceed in a compliant and practical way.
The work includes advising on:
* EMIR, margin rules (IM/VM), MiFID, trade reporting and regulatory classification
* CRR, netting and capital‑related questions
* Regulatory issues embedded in master agreements and Terms of Business
* UK and EU cross‑border regulatory questions
* Regulatory change and implementation initiatives
About you
* Qualified lawyer with circa 3–5 PQE (flexible)
* Experience in financial services or markets regulation
* Comfortable with ambiguity and problem‑solving
* Pragmatic, confident and willing to challenge where needed
* From private practice or in‑house; UK or EU qualified lawyers
