6-month contract, starting from 1st November 2025 We're JBi, an award-winning London digital agency, and we need a thoughtful, detail-oriented UI Designer to make an immediate and significant impact over a focused 6-month period. We're looking for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced agency setting, is confident managing their own process from concept through to delivery, and can immediately elevate the visual craft of our client projects. Your Primary Mission: You will be integral to working on a few accessibility-focused redesigns. Your expertise in rapid prototyping, clean handoff, and visual precision will be key to meeting critical deadlines. What We Need You to Bring You are a self-starter with a strong sense of visual craft and demonstrable experience in high-pressure environments. Must-Haves: 3 years’ experience in a dedicated UI design role —proven expertise within an agency or similarly dynamic environment. Proficiency in Figma: Our primary design tool. You can build, manage, and iterate within complex files efficiently. Accessibility Expertise: A solid, practical understanding of WCAG principles and how to design, test, and articulate designs against these standards. Workflow Mastery: Familiarity with design-to-development workflows and a clear understanding of technical feasibility (you design what can be built). Exceptional Detail: A sharp eye for detail and consistently high standards of visual output. Bonus Points: Design Systems : Experience building or actively contributing to existing design systems. Interaction Design: Motion or interaction design skills (e.g., using tools like Adobe After Effects or Principle). Client Communication: Proven ability to present and defend design solutions to internal teams and external clients. Location & Ways of Working This is a hybrid role, with a dynamic mix of in-office collaboration and remote work. Office Base: Old Street, London. Work Split: We typically work 2 days a week from our vibrant Old Street office, with the remaining days remote. Eligibility: You must be eligible to work in the UK. Short Design Task: A focused, practical task completed in your own time (max 2 hours estimated time). Final Remote Interview: Meet the project leads, present your task, and discuss your approach to fast-paced delivery.
