JOB DESCRIPTIONGroup Compliance ManagerRole Overview
As Group Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and monitoring compliance across multiple construction projects and business units.
The role ensures that Quality, Environmental, Management, and Safety Systems (QEMS) are consistently implemented, maintained, and improved. You will work closely with operational leaders, project teams, and system stakeholders to embed company procedures, ISO standards, and digital systems across live construction environments.
This position requires a structured, collaborative approach to governance, audit support, process improvement, and compliance management.

Key ResponsibilitiesCompliance & Management Systems
Ensure QEMS compliance across all operating business units and projects.
Support internal stakeholders in embedding compliant and effective processes.
Deliver on-site training on quality, compliance, and company procedures.
Support internal and external ISO audits across the organisation.
Digital Systems & Project Compliance
Field View / Viewpoint
Promote effective adoption and use of digital construction management systems.
Provide training and ongoing user support to project teams.
Assist in creating and implementing digital forms and templates.
Support system administration and continuous improvement.
Evision
Work with site teams to ensure compliance in material and plant requisitions.
Support accurate processing of Goods Received Notes (GRNs) in line with procedures.
Training & Development
Act as a mentor within internal project management development programmes.
Support the design, implementation, and monitoring of training initiatives.
Fire Engineering Compliance
Provide administrative and compliance support for fire engineering processes.
Maintain compliance using relevant certification and compliance systems (e.g., FIRAS).
Continuous Improvement
Identify operational issues and recommend practical solutions.
Ensure QEMS procedures are consistently followed across live projects.
Support development of operational support functions.
Promote collaboration between project teams and operational departments.
Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.
Person SpecificationAbout You
Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
Confident communicator, able to engage with both site teams and senior stakeholders
Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities
Adaptable and effective in fast-paced construction environments
Essential Experience
2–3+ years’ experience in Compliance, Quality, or Document Control roles
Experience within construction or project-based environments
Knowledge of Project Information Management Systems
Experience compiling Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Understanding of confidentiality and data protection requirements
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
NVQ Level 3 (or higher) in Business Administration
Knowledge of construction compliance systems and standards
