The Position
Graduate Design Engineer – a recent engineering graduate eager to kickstart a career in a global, dynamic, and innovative organisation. Join our engineering team to support our global Audio Visual operations and collaborate cross‑functionally with internal teams and world‑leading organisations.
What You’ll Do
* Assist in creating detailed designs and technical drawings using CAD software, and collaborate with senior engineers to develop innovative solutions.
* Support project planning and management activities, monitor project timelines, and communicate progress to the team and stakeholders.
* Help create prototypes and models, conduct tests and simulations, and analyze results to recommend improvements.
* Prepare detailed reports and documentation for designs, tests, and projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
* Work closely with cross‑functional teams including manufacturing, marketing, and quality assurance, and support senior engineers in client meetings and presentations.
* Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies, participate in training programs, and suggest improvements to design processes.
What We’re Looking For
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience: Internship or project experience in design engineering is preferred.
* Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
o Basic understanding of engineering principles and design standards.
o Familiarity with prototyping and testing methods.
* Soft Skills:
o Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
o Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
o Detail‑oriented with strong organizational skills.
o Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
