We are currently recruiting for a Process Operative at our Telford site within the Muller Yogurts and Desserts business unit. The role involves operating and managing the designated plant, achieving daily targets, and maintaining GMP standards.
Contract: Permanent, Full-time
Location: Telford
Shifts: 4 on 4 off, 12-hour days and nights (6-6)
Salary: £31,079 per annum plus overtime at 1x5 rate
Key responsibilities include:
* Delivering the daily production plan
* Operating plant/equipment and conducting basic maintenance
* Meeting KPI targets
* Collaborating with Key Operators on start-up procedures and maintaining standards
* Ensuring effective shift handovers and line readiness
* Monitoring product quality and taking corrective actions
* Accurate documentation and quality data management
* Training operators and promoting company values and safety standards
* Adhering to food safety and GMP standards
* Maintaining GMP standards and continuous improvement
* Ensuring health and safety compliance
* Performing other duties as required within skills and abilities
* Promoting and complying with company policies and values
Key skills & experience:
* Mechanical aptitude
* Experience in fast-paced production environments (desirable)
* Commitment to quality and minimizing waste
* Experience with material control and GMP adherence
* Knowledge of H&S statistics
* Teamwork and collaboration skills
* Flexibility and adaptability
