Job Title: Trainee HR Advisor
Reporting to: Senior HR Advisor
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee HR Advisor to join our HR team in Elgin., this is an amazing opportunity to join our team and start your career in HR.
Salary is starting from £24,897 per annum, dependant on experience.
About the Role
As a Trainee HR Advisor, you'll be learning and developing your HR skills while supporting the team with a wide range of tasks, including:
* Providing day-to-day HR support and guidance to managers and team members across the business
* Assisting with employee relations cases such as absence, disciplinary, and grievance matters (with support and coaching)
* Assisting with performance management processes and providing guidance to managers where needed
* Helping ensure HR policies and procedures are followed, and that we remain compliant with employment law
* Maintaining accurate HR records and assisting with regular reporting and data tracking
* Attending team meetings and contributing practical HR support where appropriate
* Getting involved in wider HR activities and offering support wherever needed
About you
We're looking for someone who is:
* A confident communicator with a friendly, approachable style
* Keen to learn how to handle employee relations cases with the right guidance and support
* Organised, detail-oriented, and proactive in their approach to work
* Comfortable working with data — experience in Excel or data analysis would be an advantage
