About the Role
Our client, a leading name in high-end manufacturing, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee operations for a key customer programme.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee day to day site operations, including procurement, inventory, vendor management, and customer service.
* Maintain strong relationships with the client’s management and plant teams, ensuring alignment with programmed objectives.
* Identify opportunities for value added services, cost savings, and performance improvements.
* Monitor and report on key performance indicators such as cost, sales, and service levels.
* Ensure compliance with contractual targets, including annual cost-saving initiatives
* Manage and develop on site staff, including training and performance management.
* Coordinate technical support, vendor collaboration, and new product introductions.
* Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock audits.
* Resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience in inventory or storeroom management (3–5 years minimum).
* Strong background in procurement, supply chain, or manufacturing operations.
* Solid understanding of LEAN principles and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) savings.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Confident decision-maker with an entrepreneurial mindset.
* Proficient in project coordination and performance reporting.
* Valid UK driving license required.
* Minimum of a secondary education (A-Level or equivalent).
* Further education or relevant professional qualifications desirable
