About the role:
We are currently supporting a secondary school in the Walsall area that is seeking two Physics Teachers to provide cover across Key Stages 4 and 5. These roles will involve delivering GCSE and A-level Physics, ensuring continuity for students in Years 10–13. The school is well-organised, supportive and keen to secure high-quality subject specialists who can maintain standards during this period.
Role responsibilites:
* Deliver engaging and well-structured Physics lessons to GCSE and A-level classes.
* Plan, prepare and mark work in line with department expectations.
* Support students with exam preparation and subject understanding.
* Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment.
* Work collaboratively with the science department to ensure consistency in curriculum delivery.
Role requirements:
* QTS and specialism in Physics or a closely related subject.
* Experience teaching Physics at GCSE and A-level.
* Strong classroom management and the ability to engage learners across Key Stages 4 and 5.
* A DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel.
* Availability to start within the required timeframe.
