HSE & Q Assurance Manager
As key supplier to many, many governments across the globe we design and manufacture high technology systems and devices that protect security, authenticity, freedom and people. So in these troubled times our business is seeing an unprecedented growth.
We now need a Health & Safety Manager who also wants to lead on Environmental and Quality policy along with Sustainability to join us.
With innovation constantly driving our behaviour to stay ahead of counterfeiters, fraud and crime we need someone who understands manufacture of electronic products or who is sufficiently curious to develop their current level of knowledge and experience of manufacturing and learn about us specifically.
* You will ideally have gained consistent and repeated exposure to a Management System that manages ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001, RoHS, REACH, ISO9001, ISO14001 and ESG. And then maintain this.
* Regularly perform risk assessment and worked closely with operations and particularly engineering to ensure the components are safe and the assembly is done with minimum risk.
* Continue the move away from any culture of lagging indicators and push forward to build one of proactive safety first behaviour.
* Perform regular audits both voluntarily and also to retain the relevant standards across H&S, Quality and Environmental.
* Ensure all documentation meets the business’s needs and the regulatory obligations.
* Lead any necessary investigations.
To fit in with us you will need to be relaxed but focused, be prepared to dig deep when necessary but also relish and celebrate the wins.
You will ideally have earned:
* A degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality or Health & Safety.
* A NEBOSH diploma or equivalent.
* Want to become a Chartered member of the IOSH.
* Be an approved auditor across ISO 45001, 14001 & 9001.
* Be someone capable of switching between detailed focus and strategic planning and action.
* Able to enthuse everyone around you with the benefits of improving Health & Safety, Quality, Environment and Sustainability.
This last point is the facet that will make you stand out, it maybe you have the energy of youth or experience of age; it doesn’t matter you will need to inspire all stakeholders with you be they inside or outside the organisation.
