Responsibilities
* Work within a multi-disciplinary team carrying out comprehensive assessments, initiating and reviewing care plans, and developing treatment options.
* Undertake medication rounds, and assess and treat patients who may have undergone traumatic experiences and may be distressed.
* Assess patients’ health needs using an evidence‑based framework and conduct risk assessment using sound clinical knowledge.
* Provide advice, support and information to individuals and manage a caseload of patients.
* Deliver non‑judgemental care that makes a real difference.
* Monitor therapeutic responses to medication and potential side‑effects, liaising with prescribers as required.
* Inspire excellence by forging strong links with partners and stakeholders.
* Promote best practice, clinical supervision and evidence‑based care.
* Share knowledge, skills and expertise to ensure safe care, build strong multi‑disciplinary teams and support each other to do a great job.

Qualifications
* Qualified Mental Health Nurse with NMC registration.
* Evidence of continued professional development.
* Experience of working face‑to‑face with patients who have complex mental health conditions.
* Experience of psychosocial interventions, group work and awareness of substance misuse.
* Experience working in a hospital, community, or prison environment (not essential but ideal).
