About the School:

With an experienced KS2 team and a supportive leadership structure, TAs are valued as essential members of the school community. Behaviour is well-managed, development is encouraged, and there’s a strong track record of progressing TAs into HLTA and teacher training roles.
The school is currently looking for a confident, reliable, and nurturing KS2 Teaching Assistant to join the team, supporting across Year 3–6 depending on your experience. A qualification isn’t essential, but prior experience in a school or youth-focused setting is
You’ll Need:
A calm, consistent, and proactive approach to classroom support
Strong communication and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Confidence supporting learning in literacy, numeracy, and topic subjects
A valid DBS or willingness to apply for one
The Role Includes:
Supporting the class teacher with daily routines, activities, and lesson delivery
Running small group interventions, particularly in maths and reading
Providing targeted support to pupils needing a confidence boost or additional guidance
Encouraging engagement through discussion, visual resources, and practical learning
Building strong, positive relationships with staff, pupils, and families
Opportunities for both part-time and full-time roles, depending on your availability
