Director of Financial Planning & Analysis | Gloucester / Hybrid | £120,000 - £140,000 + Bonus
Are you a detail-oriented finance leader with a passion for driving performance through insight and data? We’re seeking a Director of FP&A for a medium-sized, acquisitive business that’s scaling rapidly and investing for growth. We are looking for someone who comes from a data rich environment, ideally a larger organisation, who thrives in FP&A.
About the Role:
The Director of FP&A will play a critical role in driving the financial strategy and performance of the business. This position will be responsible for leading the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes to support strategic decision-making and ensure the financial health of the business unit.
Reporting into the MD, with a dotted line into the US, responsibilities will include:
* Corporate and Business Reporting and Planning. Lead the budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, reporting and quarterly pacing process. Coordinate with Senior Leadership the preparation of consolidated Quarterly Business Review presentations.
* Business Review Process. Drive the monthly budget versus actual analysis as well as actual versus prior year and other benchmark data including providing variance analysis for management reviews.
* Financial education and maturity. Play a critical role in implementing and maturing financial processes and promoting financial discipline and educate across the organisation.
* Reporting Systems. Manage the continued development of budgeting, forecasting and modelling tools. (Power BI, Cognos, IBM TM1 and Excel). Drive requirements for enhancements of the financial planning and business intelligence system. Partner with IT to drive standardised and automated reporting, adhering to requirement and driving better visibility across the IT function.
* KPI development. Evolve and refine the business metrics and reporting providing insightful information to leadership and design dashboards to provide transparency on important KPIs.
* Coach, mentor and develop a team including overseas finance leaders to drive continuous improvement, reporting and analytics.

Your Profile:
* ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified
* A degree or A-levels in Mathematics or similar
* Strong FP&A background
* Detail orientated
* Strong communicator
