SEMH Teaching Assistants – Salisbury – Full-Time – Immediate Start
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? A supportive all-through SEMH school in Salisbury is seeking full-time Teaching Assistants to join their dedicated team as soon as possible.
About the Role:
1. Support students across both primary and secondary phases.
2. Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning and emotional support.
3. Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for pupils with SEMH needs.
4. Assist with behaviour management and promote positive social interactions.
Requirements:
5. Experience working with children or young people, ideally in SEMH or SEN settings.
6. A calm, resilient, and empathetic approach.
7. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
8. A genuine desire to support and empower vulnerable learners.
