A dynamic opportunity for a Laboratory Technician (Electrode Manufacture) to contribute to the development of advanced battery materials in a fast-paced and innovative environment. The role involves hands-on experimental work, data analysis, and close collaboration with engineering teams to support project milestones and technical goals.
Responsibilities
 * Develop and support the advancement of lithium-sulfur battery materials.
 * Design and execute experimental procedures and routine testing.
 * Manufacture and characterise electrode slurries and coatings.
 * Operate and maintain laboratory and scale-up equipment.
 * Present experimental results to management and project teams.
 * Maintain standard operating procedures and ensure safe lab practices.
Qualifications
 * Degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
 * Experience working in a scientific laboratory setting.
 * Strong communication and organisational skills.
 * Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
 * Eagerness to learn and develop a broad range of technical skills.
 * Familiarity with coating manufacture, mixing, and formulation design (desirable).
