Overview
We are recruiting an experienced CNC Machinist to join our leading client on a permanent basis at their site near Yeadon, Leeds. Successful candidates must be time‑served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specifications. This role is available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities
* Work on a range of CNC millers and lathes, ensuring production accuracy and quality.
* Program CNC machines, including programming own work and using Siemens controls (ideally 828D).
* Manipulate both CNC millers and lathes and read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
Qualifications
* Experience working within a subcontract machine shop environment machining components to fine tolerances.
* Time‑served with demonstrable experience in a subcontract machine shop environment.
* Experience programming using Siemens controls and 828D (ideal).
* Proficiency on a range of CNC millers and lathes.
* Ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.
