Purchasing Manager – Drive Procurement Excellence!
Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for procurement and supplier management? We’re looking for a Purchasing Manager to join our clients team in the North West, leading purchasing operations, optimising processes, and ensuring the timely, cost effective supply of materials and services.
What You’ll Do
* Lead, coach, and develop a high performing purchasing team.
* Manage suppliers, contracts, and negotiations for best value.
* Oversee ERP driven purchasing (SAP preferred) and stock governance.
* Ensure compliance with UK legislation, ethical standards, and ESG practices.
* Drive process improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiency.
What We’re Looking For
* Proven purchasing or supply chain experience.
* Strong ERP knowledge and analytical skills.
* Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
* Understanding of UK procurement laws, GDPR, and health & safety obligations.
Desirable: CIPS qualification, manufacturing experience, international supplier management, ESG-focused procurement.
