Job Title: Project Engineer (Manufacturing - Site Infrastructure) Location: Bromborough Contract Type: Temporary - 6 Month Contract (Potential Extension to 9 Months) IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Working Hours: Monday to Friday Days Reporting To: Global Project Manager Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support a manufacturing site in Bromborough during a planned site sale. This is a hands-on role focused on infrastructure and facilities rather than machinery, requiring strong experience in building fabrics, piping systems, drainage, and structural elements. Key Responsibilities: Lead and support engineering activities related to site infrastructure during the transition and sale process Assess and document the condition and functionality of building fabrics, walls, drains, pipework, and utilities Coordinate with contractors and internal teams to manage remedial works and decommissioning plans Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards throughout all project phases Provide technical input and reporting to support decision-making and stakeholder communications Maintain accurate records of site assets, layouts, and infrastructure status Liaise with facilities, maintenance, and operations teams to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing activitiesCandidate Requirements: Essential: Proven experience as a Project Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong knowledge of building infrastructure including walls, drains, pipework, and general site services Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across departments Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Familiarity with HSE regulations and site safety protocols Desirable: Experience supporting site closures, relocations, or sales Engineering qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) in Mechanical, Civil, or Building Services Engineering Proficiency in site documentation and reporting tools
