The Brand Marketing Partner will work across our Brands category to grow our collaborative marketing with strategic brands & suppliers. Working with key partners from over 700 brands available to buy online from Next.co.uk this role will focus on growing our Sports category working closely with brands such as Adidas, Under Armour, Reebok and Regatta. The candidate will be confident in pitching and presenting to our brands while also project managing multiple campaigns at one time. The role involves working collaboratively across internal teams at NEXT as well as managing and growing relationships with senior brand stakeholders.
This role is similar to a senior partner/account management role in media sales/ad agency or a Brands Partnership role – with both financial growth targets and the need to ensure effective delivery of campaigns.
The role would be based in our Manchester tech hub. However, we have offices in London, Manchester and Leicester so travel would be required between these locations. The role holder will need to regularly travel to brands/suppliers offices which will mainly be London based as well as attending relevant meetings at NEXT HQ (Enderby/Leicester) so the ability to be flexible regarding travel to these locations is key.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver
● Execute strategic and inspiring brand partnerships plans for NEXT
● Ensure effective project management and delivery of campaigns by working with multiple internal teams
● Create conversion driving marketing activities that inspire our customers and meet both Next and Brand partner KPI’s
● Deliver 360 marketing activations across multiple touch points including owned channels and digital media.
Enhance
● Make recommendations on how NEXT can enhance their brand digital marketing approach.
● Repository of brand customer needs and competitor behaviour – by listening to brands, watching the market and formally reporting back at least quarterly on the key trends and take-outs
Communicate
● Work very closely with Product and Digital Marketing colleagues.
● Work in tandem with the Brand Trading Managers to align across touchpoints.
● Keep the Brand Partnerships Manager informed with performance, projects and industry developments
● Ensure regular communication with brand partners providing project updates and clear timelines in order to build the most strategic partnerships.

Proven ability to build excellent relationships with external brand partners and internal stakeholders

● Ability to understand data and reports to highlight key take-outs for partners
● Good knowledge of a range of digital media channels
● Good knowledge of retailer e-commerce objectives and ways of working preferably within the high street
fashion category
