Job Opportunity: Engineering Development Manager Reporting to: Head of Engineering We are excited to announce an opportunity for the role of Engineering Development Manager. This is a pivotal position focused on driving operational excellence, enhancing asset reliability, and developing technical mastery across our maintenance functions. Purpose of the Role To improve operational performance through the implementation of best-in-class asset care practices and processes, delivering reliability and technical mastery within the maintenance function. Key Responsibilities Lead operational performance improvements using the Maintenance Excellence Roadmap. Govern asset performance through PM and reliability programmes. Ensure compliance with health & safety, environmental, and product quality standards. Coordinate long-duration planned maintenance across multiple sites. Develop and implement supplier performance management strategies. Champion continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to group CI strategy. Lead skills development across the engineering community, including apprenticeships. Actively uphold and promote Müller values through visible leadership. Skills & Experience Required Proven experience delivering maintenance strategy across multiple production sites. Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills. Ability to benchmark performance and identify improvement opportunities. Strategic mindset with a focus on asset care optimisation. Multi-site experience is desirable. Qualifications Degree in a relevant engineering discipline. Membership of a professional engineering body (preferred).
