Finance Manager Finance Manager The location of the role is Salford Quays, Manchester (hybrid working). The duration of the contract is 6 months. The pay rate on offer is £450 - £550 per day (via Umbrella agency - inside IR35). The client is a multinational high-street retailer. Key skills: business partnering, accounting, team management Role Summary We are seeking a Finance Manager with strong business partnering capabilities. You'll be leading the Digital & Technology (D&T) Finance team within Record to Report. Key to the role will be engaging with both Finance and non-Finance partners. Key accountabilities of the role Leading and encouraging a team of 5 reports, to deliver high quality outputs, driving a continuous improvement mentality and a can-do attitude Ensuring the large volume of tasks and queries are managed effectively, within a timely resolution, and aligned to the timetable key to successful delivery Develop the team to work collaboratively with London Finance business partners to ensure the financials are reflected accurately Strong Business Partner engagement to facilitate a collaborative working environment, managing regular dialogue to continue to drive improved performance Key skills and experience Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Exceptional business partnering skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels Line management experience, managing teams through transition and change Strong communication skills. Experience of using SAP, but not essential Strong accounting skills with previous experience of working in a fast-paced environment/shared service centre Excellent numerical and analytical skills
