Contentious Construction Solicitor, 5+ Years PQE, Bristol, £85,000+ (DOE) – This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong and commercially minded lawyer with experience in construction disputes to develop their career in a collaborative and supportive environment. Job Ref: 2514
The role
* You will provide practical, solutions-focused advice to clients across a broad range of contentious construction matters.
* You will apply your technical expertise while considering the client’s business, sector, and commercial objectives.
* Advising clients on contentious construction matters across your areas of expertise.
* Managing your own caseload, with support and supervision where required.
* Supervising and delegating to junior team members as needed.
* Contributing to business development activities and participating in the firm’s structured programme to build BD skills.
Skills required
* Applications are sought from Construction Solicitors with a minimum of 5 years PQE in contentious construction matters.
* Strong technical skills and a good understanding of construction issues.
* Experience managing your own caseload, with an understanding of when to escalate issues.
* Experience supervising or mentoring junior colleagues.
* Proactive, self-motivated and organised approach, with excellent attention to detail.
* Commercial awareness and a keen interest in developing business development skills.
