Overview

Social Worker - Adults Multi-Disciplinary Team: Sanctuary Personnel is currently looking for an experienced Principal Psychologist to work in Llanelli on a full-time basis. The salary for this permanent Principal Psychologist job is £60,000 – £70,000 per annum.

Main Duties

* Drive the delivery and enhancement of cutting-edge, evidence-based neuropsychological rehabilitation practices.
* Perform in-depth psychological assessments for service users using various methods, including tests, self-report scales, structured observations, and interviews.
* Develop and execute tailored psychological treatment plans addressing mental health and adjustment challenges, informed by a multi-dimensional understanding and current best practices.
* Offer expert psychological insights to the multidisciplinary team to shape and refine therapeutic strategies and intervention plans, and supervise their application.
* Conduct psychological risk assessments and manage risks for service users, providing informed advice to team members as required.
* Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support the advancement and quality of clinical services.
* Support Service Managers and Regional Managers in service management tasks and provide reports to the Consultant Clinical Neuropsychologist.


Requirements

* Hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) accredited by the BPS.
* Demonstrate the ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex clinical information, and use this to guide effective team collaboration.
* Exhibit exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the capacity to handle complex and sensitive issues.
* Possess strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively and manage a diverse workload.
* Experience in administering and interpreting a variety of psychometric tests is essential.
* Have a proven track record in clinical research or audit.
* Bring experience in neurorehabilitation and a keen interest in neuropsychology, with a commitment to advancing service excellence.
