Your Impact
We seek a Data MI Reporting Manager to join our Business Insights and Analytics team, passionate about Data and MI, and understanding its role in shaping a customer-oriented business.
This role is critical in providing quality data and MI solutions, enabling the business to understand performance and ensure smooth operations. It involves shaping data from various domains, including Commercial, Customer, Telephony Operations, Marketing, Products, and Risk, while maintaining data accuracy, governance, and effective reporting.
Responsibilities
1. Data Stewardship: Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data sources across various reporting tools.
2. Data Governance: Implement and uphold data governance practices, ensuring compliance with standards, security policies, and regulations.
3. Data Management: Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure data integrity for reporting.
4. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data sources, processes, and governance procedures.
5. Collaboration: Work with engineering, business divisions, and data stewards to align on data definitions and reporting methodologies.
6. Data Source Development: Identify and develop new data sources for reporting and analytics.
7. Data Shaping: Prepare data sets for analysis and visualization, ensuring quality and structure.
8. Reporting Delivery: Develop and maintain reports and dashboards.
9. Release Management: Manage report releases, ensuring timely updates.
10. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor data pipelines and resolve issues.
Requirements
1. Experience in reporting and data management, preferably in banking or financial services.
2. Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
3. Understanding of data governance principles.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent stakeholder and communication skills.
6. Desire to support team development and targets.
7. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
8. Positive attitude, adaptability, and high energy.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications
1. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field.
2. Knowledge of banking regulations (e.g., GDPR, PSD2).
3. Experience with BI concepts, data warehousing, and data modeling.
4. Experience with Snowflake and AWS.
5. Understanding of Big Data and cloud platforms.
