We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Engineering Geologist to join our growing team in Glasgow. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from local developments to large-scale national infrastructure schemes.

Key Responsibilities
* Supervision of ground investigations, including cable percussion, rotary, and window sampling crews
* Trial pitting / Logging of soil and rock to BS5930 / Eurocode 7
* Project Management of ground investigations
* Production of Phase 1 Desk Studies
* Assistance in the preparation of Factual and Interpretive Reports
What We’re Looking For
* Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field
* Strong communication and project management skills
* Full UK driving licence
* Willingness to travel and work away from home
* CSCS Card & First Aid Training (SSSTS desirable)
* Based near Glasgow or willing to relocate

With offices throughout the UK, we can provide our geotechnical and environmental investigation techniques and services to clients throughout the country. These services are offered from each regional location, fully supported by an experienced team of civil engineers and geologists. Services include soil exploration by percussion boring, window sampling and mechanical excavation and rock exploration by rotary drilling and coring. Additionally, specialists are available, including materials technologists and on-site chemists, who can undertake testing and monitoring services and in situ tests such as plate loading, California bearing ratio and density, including nuclear density testing.
The company’s materials technology and construction engineering service operates throughout the United Kingdom, undertaking and reporting on structural and condition surveys, BREEAM assessments and asbestos surveys.
