Job Description
The Assistant Accountant's responsibilities:
3. Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reports.
4. Support the reconciliation of accounts, including bank and supplier statements.
5. Process invoices, payments, and expense claims with accuracy and timeliness.
6. Help maintain the general ledger by posting journal entries and resolving discrepancies.
7. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
8. Assist with financial audits by preparing documentation and responding to queries.
9. Provide support for budgeting and forecasting activities as required.
10. Contribute to process improvements within the accounting and finance department.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Assistant Accountant should have:
