Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Junior Artworker to join our in-house creative team. The ideal candidate will support the creation and preparation of artwork for print and digital media, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand guidelines. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in design and production within a fast-paced, creative environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the creation of design assets for print and digital, including brochures, email campaigns, web assets, social media graphics, gallery POS, and advertisements
2. Prepare final artwork files for print or digital delivery, ensuring all specifications (bleeds, crop marks, resolution, etc.) are met.
3. Make layout and content amendments to existing artwork based on feedback from the team or clients.
4. Work closely with the senior designers and marketing team to maintain brand consistency across all visual communications
5. Liaise with printers and other external suppliers to coordinate production, request quotes, and ensure timely delivery of materials
6. Create and manage purchase orders where necessary to support artwork production and supplier coordination.
7. Retouch, resize, and format images for a range of platforms and specifications
8. Help manage asset libraries and maintain file organisation and version control
9. Stay updated on best practices in artwork production, design trends, and relevant software.
Skills & Experience
10. A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
11. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator (XD and Premiere Pro are a plus)
12. Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of layout, typography, and colour theory.
13. Knowledge of print production processes.
14. Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
15. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
16. A positive attitude and willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment
