About the Role
This is a newly created leadership position, designed to support the Centre Manager at a strategic level while taking ownership of the day-to-day operation of the centre. As Operations Director, you will play a critical role in ensuring operational excellence, enhancing service delivery, and driving continuous improvement across all aspects of facilities management with the customer at the heart of everything you do.
Key Responsibilities
* Deputise for the Centre Manager and play a supporting role through the significant investment projects ongoing at the centre.
* Lead and inspire the inhouse team and contracts teams, cultivating a culture of excellence, ownership, and collaboration.
* Mentor and develop team members, identifying growth opportunities and supporting career progression.
* Optimise operational efficiency, implementing best practices and cost-effective solutions across FM and centre operations.
* Drive health & safety compliance, sustainability initiatives, and contractor management.
* Forge strong relationships with retailers, contractors, and stakeholders, representing The Liberty to the highest standards.
About You
You are a results-driven leader with a strong background in facilities, centre operations or centre management, ideally within a retail or mixed-use environment. You thrive in dynamic environments, are passionate about developing people, and have a keen eye for improving systems and service delivery.
