SEND Teacher – Permanent Position – Surrey An award-winning, highly reputable group of SEN schools is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and dedicated SEND Teacher to join the permanent teaching team at one of their exceptional Surrey schools. The successful candidate will work within a supportive and collaborative staff team, delivering tailored learning programmes to pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. The school prides itself on fostering creativity, resilience, and academic progress through innovative teaching and a child-centred approach. Key Responsibilities: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality, differentiated lessons for pupils with SEND. Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet individual learning needs and EHCP targets. Create an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment. Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to support each pupil’s progress. Contribute to the school’s wider life, ethos, and commitment to continuous improvement. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching pupils with special educational needs, preferably within a specialist setting. Strong knowledge of SEND strategies, interventions, and curriculum adaptations. Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. A positive, patient, and resilient attitude, with a commitment to inclusive education. The ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain). Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits package.
