Programme Manager (Medical Devices / Diagnostics)UK | Hybrid | PermanentCY Partners is partnering with a growing life sciences organisation supporting the delivery of medical device and IVD programmes for global customers. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Programme Manager to take ownership of large, complex programmes, leading cross functional delivery across technical, regulatory and clinical workstreams.While this is not a line management role initially, it is highly visible and customer facing, with a clear pathway into broader programme leadership as the business continues to scale.This role sits at the centre of programme execution, acting as the connector between internal teams, customers and subject matter experts to ensure momentum, clarity and delivery against agreed milestones.The role operates on a hybrid basis, with on site presence expected around two days per week on average.The roleTake ownership of high impact programmes, driving delivery from initiation through to close outCoordinate and influence cross functional teams across R&D, regulatory, quality and clinical activitiesAct as a primary customer facing point of contact, translating complex technical progress into clear, decision ready updatesMaintain integrated plans, risk, issue and dependency tracking, governance forums and structured reportingProactively manage risk, issues and change in a fast moving environmentEnsure programme documentation, decisions and actions are clearly captured and controlledShare knowledge and good practice across programmes to support consistent deliveryWhat they’re looking forProven programme or project management experience within medical devices, diagnostics, IVD or other regulated life sciences environmentsExperience delivering large or complex projects within busy, matrix organisationsComfortable stepping into a customer facing role and building credibility quicklyAble to hit the ground running, bring structure where needed and maintain momentumInfluential communicator, able to engage and align stakeholders without formal authorityFamiliarity with regulated product development and delivery (design controls, V&V, regulatory or clinical activities)Formal PM qualification (PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, AgilePM or similar)Why this roleOwnership of significant programmes with real customer and commercial impactClear opportunity to grow into broader programme and people leadership over timeExposure to complex, outsourced delivery models and senior customer stakeholdersA role for someone who enjoys bringing clarity, pace and influence to technically complex workTo apply or discuss confidentially, contact CY Partners.Applicants must have the right to work permanently in the UK.CY Partners is acting as an Employment Agency in connection with this vacancy.
