Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the East Integrated Community Mental Health Team based at North Moor House, Northallerton.
The team supports adults with mild to severe mental health difficulties using a multidisciplinary approach. We are offering an Applied Psychologist position within this team.
We seek highly motivated practitioners committed to delivering excellent care. The role is vital for providing high-quality care for patients, carers, and families, and is well-supported professionally.
Applicants must obtain prior agreement from their current line manager for secondment. If permanent funding is secured, the successful candidate will be appointed permanently.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will conduct specialist psychological assessments, develop formulations, and provide therapies as part of a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include clinical work, consultation, training, and supervision of team members, trainees, and assistant psychologists.
This is a maternity cover vacancy.
Travel across the locality may be required; therefore, a valid UK driving license or alternative evidence is necessary.
