What will a day in the life of a Support Worker involve?
1. Providing practical and emotional support, including welfare calls, shopping, and home visits.
2. Supporting adults after a hospital stay to help them recover safely at home.
3. Responding to referrals from clinicians and community health professionals.
4. Assessing needs and following a personalised support plan for each service user.
To be a successful Support Worker, what will you need?
5. A kind, calm and confident approach with great people skills.
6. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. A full UK driving licence and willingness to drive service vehicles.
8. Basic IT skills and a commitment to following procedures.
