Package Description:
Shift Details: 2 x 25 hours per week, 7 pm - 07:30 am
As a Care Assistant, you will deliver high standards of personal care to residents, contribute to the care team to ensure continuity of services, assist with personal hygiene, recognise clinical risk areas and escalate identified risks promptly, and maintain dignity and individuality of residents. You will work within safe systems of work and benefit from Avery’s thorough induction and training program.
Other responsibilities include:
* Assisting residents with personal hygiene to promote independence, dignity and respect.
* Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas (e.g., weight loss, pressure areas, risk of falls, signs of infection) and escalating risks in a timely manner.
* Being courteous to residents and visitors and respecting each resident’s dignity and individuality.
* Practicing safe systems of work across the range of tasks.
