A friendly and inclusive primary school in Wimborne is seeking a part-time Teaching Assistant to support KS1 pupils each afternoon from September 2025.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with school experience—or looking to return to education—who enjoys nurturing young minds and working as part of a supportive team.
The Role:
Working every afternoon, Monday to Friday (12:00pm–3:30pm)
Provide in-class support to KS1 pupils, assisting with learning, routines, and social development
Work closely with the class teacher to deliver targeted interventions and group activities
Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and engagement with learning
✅ You Will Need:
Experience working with young children in a school, childcare, or support setting
A calm, encouraging and friendly approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
A DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
