Rate of Pay: £17.35 - £22.86 per hour
Summary:
The Regeneration Project Officer role sits within the Economy & Place service area and focuses on delivering regeneration initiatives across key town centres. The successful candidate will support the development and delivery of projects aimed at creating sustainable, attractive places where businesses can thrive.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and deliver regeneration projects for town centres, including identifying funding and partnership opportunities.
* Manage project plans, budgets, risks, milestones, and resources, escalating issues where necessary.
* Prepare and submit funding applications, claims, and progress reports in line with deadlines.
* Ensure compliance with grant conditions, funding requirements, and audit standards.
* Coordinate project boards, progress meetings, and stakeholder engagement activities.
* Work collaboratively with internal teams, consultants, and external partners.
Qualification:
* Project Management Practitioner qualification or equivalent experience
Essentials:
* Minimum 3 years' experience in project/programme management.
* Experience managing complex projects and working with external funding.
* Strong knowledge of project management methods, systems, and techniques.
* Experience working in partnerships and engaging with stakeholders, including public sector bodies.
* Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
