Here at Hays education, we have many partnerships with local schools across Bristol; one in particular being this South Bristol school that we are currently recruiting for. This school is looking for an individual to join on a long-term, full-time basis this BS13 school. We are always looking for KS1 teachers to join us here at Hays, whether that be on a supply, short or long-term basis.
Your new role
This local Bristol school is looking for a KS1 Teacher with specific experience in SEND to join their vibrant team as soon as possible. As there is a high level of need in this class, this role will consist of planning and delivering lessons to your class, having activities and tasks ready and answering any questions that your class may have based on the lesson of the day. You will be responsible for this cohort of 30 and there will be 3 Teaching Assistants present in the class too. These TAs are in the class on a 1.1 basis with 3 specific children with Autism. You will have to cater lessons for these students whilst also keeping the whole class engaged in the lessons too.
What you'll need to succeed
- Qualified Teacher Status (PGCE)
- Experience within the last 5 years
- Eligibility to work in the UK
- Good knowledge of the English National Curriculum
