Integrity Education Solutions are supporting one of our valued partner schools in the appointment of a Lead Teacher to join their specialist Alternative Provision (AP) setting based near Slough. Initially 3 days per week (rising to 5 days) with an immediate start on a fixed term contract basis.
As the Lead Specialist Teacher, you will combine classroom teaching with wider leadership responsibilities. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and passionate educator to take a leading role in shaping high-quality teaching and learning within a small, nurturing school environment for children with additional needs.
Key responsibilities:
* Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of all learners.
* Developing and refining the school’s curriculum to ensure breadth, balance, and relevance.
* Supporting and mentoring other teachers and teaching assistants in effective classroom delivery.
* Contributing to the quality assurance of teaching, including lesson observations and feedback.
* Promoting a positive, inclusive, and achievement-focused school culture.
* Monitoring pupil progress and adapting approaches in response to assessment data.
* Building strong relationships with parents, carers, and external partners.
Key requirements:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent
* Strong teaching experience within a SEND or Alternative Provision environment
* Excellent classroom management and curriculum design skills
* A collaborative, proactive, and flexible approach
* The ability to inspire colleagues and create a supportive learning environment
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (Dependent on experience)
