As a key part of our Management Accounts team, you’ll take ownership of the month-end process, including P&L analysis, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany accounting across our group of companies.


You’ll work closely with the Finance Manager and divisional Financial Controllers, providing critical insight, analysis, and reporting that supports strategic decision-making at every level of the business. Key Responsibilities:


* Produce monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow for group entities.
* Take responsibility for month end processes for one of the group entities, investigating P&L variances and ensuring accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations.
* Partner with divisional teams to deliver financial insight that drives business performance.
* Coordinate with the management accounts team to ensure accuracy in intercompany accounting and support group consolidations.
* Contribute to statutory audit preparation and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with credit control and, purchase ledger teams, as well as with senior management.

What we’re looking for in Skills & Experience


* CIMA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong management accounting experience.
* Proven background in group reporting and intercompany reconciliations.
* Advanced Excel skills and experience using Sage 50 (Sage 200 desirable).
* Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
* Excellent communication skills — confident presenting financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
* A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
