The Role:
Here at Survitec, we are currently recruiting for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Shared Service Team based in Grange House, Dunmurry, N. Ireland on a Fixed Term Basis.
Key responsibilities for the Assistant Accountant role include but are not limited to:
1. Assist with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
2. Monitor budgets and ensure compliance with financial regulations
3. Support month-end and year-end close processes
4. Completing weekly Bank Reconciliations and assisting with cashflow forecasts
5. Maintain financial controls and ensure accurate records
6. Prepare statutory accounts and management reports
7. Respond to accounting queries and support system users
8. Conduct financial checks and help resolve compliance issues
9. Promote a positive, inclusive, and safety-first workplace culture
10. Continuously develop skills and stay current with industry standards

About You:
Essential criteria:
11. Educated to university degree level, or vocational equivalent
12. 6 – 12 months of under-graduate work experience, where course structure supports this
13. No formal management experience required, as this is a developmental role
