Head of Supply Chain, Personal Health Europe Region
Job Description
As the Head of Supply Chain and Operations for Personal Health in the Europe Region, you will oversee demand planning, inventory management, order flow, and product delivery to customers and consumers. Your role includes optimizing goods flow within the region and leading the development of supply chain and operations strategies aligned with regional product-market combinations. You will be part of the global Personal Health Supply Chain Leadership Team, influencing regional and global supply chain priorities across Philips and Personal Health. Additionally, you will participate in the Personal Health Western Europe and CEE Region Leadership Teams.
Your role:
1. Define and implement medium-term strategies to ensure competitive product availability and service delivery in Europe.
2. Manage regional performance in Demand Planning, Inventory Availability, Service Delivery, Costs, and Cash flow (Inventory & Order processing).
3. Identify opportunities for performance improvements within your organization and across the broader Europe and PH ISC organizations.
4. Lead demand and S&OP planning, ensuring clear communication of demand signals to factories and business units, and processing supply responses to maintain availability.
5. Proactively communicate about availability opportunities and bottlenecks across the region.
6. Translate business and customer requirements into strategies involving Talent, Partnerships, Processes, and Systems/Technology to support regional business plans.
7. Represent the Europe Region in the Personal Health Integrated Supply Chain team and vice versa.
8. Drive regional supply chain transformation and co-develop transformation initiatives at the ISC PH level.
9. Establish and monitor quality standards, targets, and process controls.
10. Promote a quality and customer-focused mindset throughout Operations and evaluate third-party process quality.
11. Align supply chain processes across departments and establish integrated end-to-end supply chain practices, collaborating with Commercial teams.
12. Coordinate technical improvements in supply chain processes and implement optimizations.
13. Develop and lead high-performing teams.
14. Maintain strong attention to product and process quality.
You're the right fit if you have:
1. Over 10 years of supply chain and operations experience in the consumer industry.
2. Hands-on leadership experience in demand & supply planning, S&OP, and distribution, with familiarity with ERP and planning systems.
3. Proven ability to lead transformation initiatives and develop capabilities across processes, people, and systems.
1. At least 5 years of broad international people leadership experience.
2. Experience managing planning, staffing, budgeting, expense priorities, and implementing process improvements.
3. Experience in the European consumer market.
1. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
2. Excellent collaboration skills.
3. A master’s degree in business, operations & supply chain, or engineering.
4. Commitment to continuous improvement using lean principles.
