LIFE Quake is an ambitious £5m project funded by the EU and Welsh Government, that aims to restore Transition Mire and Quaking Bog ,a much diminished habitat that has a range of rare species associated with it, including the Marsh Fritillary Butterfly. The project operates across several sites including Cors Crymlyn (Swansea), North-West Pembrokeshire Commons and Corsydd Eifionydd (Gwynedd).
The project manager is responsible for leading the team of 6 staff to deliver a work programme of practical site restoration, monitoring and stakeholder engagement work. You will manage the team, ensuring delivery of project objectives and targets and report progress to agreed milestones. You will ensure good governance of the project, including adherence to NRWs procurement, operational, and health and safety practices as well as adherence to all the requirements of the LIFE programme.
