We are supporting the legal team behind one of the UK’s most significant energy and infrastructure developments as it moves into a major construction phase.
This is an opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer to join a collaborative in-house team advising on the legal and governance framework that underpins a complex, multi-investor project.
The position offers exposure to senior decision-makers, external investors, government stakeholders and regulators, alongside a broad mix of corporate, financing and commercial work.
The Role
You will support the business across a range of legal matters, including:
• Advising on corporate governance and shareholder arrangements
• Supporting debt and equity financing structures and related approval processes
• Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements across operational teams
• Working with procurement and commercial colleagues on contractual risk allocation
• Contributing to board and governance processes, including investor engagement
• Managing external legal advisers and supporting efficient delivery of legal work
About You
We are interested in lawyers who bring:
• Experience working on energy, infrastructure or large-scale project environments
• Exposure to corporate, financing or commercial contracting matters
• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to communicate clearly with non-legal stakeholders
• A collaborative approach and the confidence to operate in a fast-moving environment
Candidates from both private practice and in-house backgrounds will be considered.
