Responsibilities: We provide hands-on technical leadership to engineering teams of 5 to 15 people, including mentoring, code review, and architectural direction. We partner closely with Product, Design, and Commercial teams to convert business objectives into robust technical plans. We drive engineering excellence through best practices, continuous improvement, and sustainable delivery processes. We lead the build-out and ongoing evolution of high-traffic Ruby on Rails platforms supporting significant commercial throughput. We modernise legacy systems while ensuring uninterrupted business operations. We introduce AI-powered enhancements to improve customer journeys and internal operational efficiency. We collaborate with stakeholders across pricing, quoting, and customer lifecycle domains to deliver impactful product improvements.
