Aftersales Customer Service Coordinator Location: St Albans Salary: £27,000k to £30,000k a year Job type: Permanent Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5.30pm About the Role We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist technology business that designs, builds and supplies high performance computing hardware, including servers, storage systems and workstations. Their systems support demanding business and scientific workloads, so accuracy, organisation and clear communication are key. This role would suit someone with a background in customer service, order support, returns coordination or supplier liaison, who enjoys problem solving and working closely with both customers and internal teams. What You’ll Do • Act as a main point of contact for customer service queries related to returns and replacements • Manage supplier returns processes from start to finish, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently • Communicate clearly with customers, suppliers and internal departments • Track and update return cases accurately using internal systems • Help improve processes by identifying recurring issues or delays • Ensure service levels are maintained and customers feel supported throughout What We’re Looking For • Experience in customer service, customer support, aftersales or a related role • Familiarity with supplier returns, RMA processes or stock returns • Strong communication skills and a calm, organised approach • Comfortable handling multiple cases at once and following processes • Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills Nice to Have • Experience using customer service platforms or ticketing systems such as JIRA • Experience working with ERP systems like Sage X3 • Background in technology, hardware, manufacturing or technical supply environments Who Might Suit This Role This position could suit someone currently working as a customer service executive, returns coordinator, aftersales administrator, support desk analyst, service coordinator or order support specialist. Experience from industries such as IT hardware, electronics, manufacturing, distribution or technical supply would transfer well, but is not essential if you have strong customer service and returns experience.
