Department Vision
The Science department aims to build strong foundational knowledge at KS3, preparing students for success at GCSE.
Role Expectations
Deliver structured KS3 Science lessons
Teach core principles across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
Reinforce scientific vocabulary and practical skills
Maintain safety during experiments
Promote curiosity and enquiry
The ideal candidate:
QTS (desirable) – unqualified teachers feel free to apply
Has experience working with children in a school environment and genuinely enjoys supporting them in practical, face‑to‑face learning.
Broad scientific knowledge
Classroom and behaviour management
Ability to explain abstract concepts
