Requirements of the Aftercare Manager role
* Previous experience working in an after sales department is essential
* Mechanical knowledge is preferred.
* Team management experience is preferred.
* MUST be confident speaking to customers on the phone
* Should be friendly and approachable when dealing with customers on site
Responsibilities of the Aftercare Manager role
* Contacting our valuable customers to assist them with their service and aftercare enquiries, helping to ensure a clear understanding of the required repairs and work.
* Providing the much needed link between our customers and the workshop, ensuring a smooth line of communication is maintained with the customers at all times.
* You would also be responsible for the provision of courtesy cars to customers and invoicing paid work.
* Daily management of a small team of service advisors and liaising with technicians to ensure the workshop continues to run as smoothly and efficiently as possible.
Hilton Garage requires a well organised driven individual to lead our aftercare department following restructuring. The ideal applicant should have an automotive background, be well organised and excellent customer service skills. They should also be able to manage a small team and liaise with our technicians to ensure our exceptionally high standards of service are maintained. A basic understanding of The Consumer Rights Act 2015 would be preferable but not insisted upon as training can be given. We have existing systems in place but welcome the input and experience from the successful applicant as we enter another exciting period of expansion for the business.
