BS3, Bristol

Do you have a passion for supporting children and helping them grow both inside and outside the classroom? A vibrant primary school in BS2 is seeking a Positive Behaviour Mentor to join their supportive team this September.
This is a rewarding role where you’ll play a key part in helping pupils feel confident, valued, and ready to learn. Every day is different, and your impact will be felt across the school community.
What you’ll be doing:
* Supporting children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2, providing tailored 1:1 and group support.
* Using positive reinforcement, encouragement, and consistent routines to help pupils manage their behaviour and engage with learning.
* Assisting with learning activities and adapting support for pupils with additional needs, including SEN and EAL.
* Building strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to create a safe and inclusive environment.
* Acting as a role model, promoting resilience, self-confidence, and positive wellbeing.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience working with children or young people – this could be in a school, coaching, childcare, or youth work setting.
* A caring, resilient and proactive personality with strong communication skills.
* An understanding of safeguarding and the importance of pupil wellbeing.
* Someone who can bring energy, empathy, and a “can-do” approach to every day.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a real difference in the lives of young learners and be part of a welcoming, supportive school community.
✨ If you’re enthusiastic about helping pupils thrive and want to be part of a team that values inclusion, positivity, and growth – we’d love to hear from you.
