What you will be doing
as a Catchment Analyst
1. Delivery of the Targeted Catchment Investigations (TCI) workstream. Reducing the number of pollution, sewer flooding and blockages that occur from Thames Water's wastewater network.
2. Analysis of previous pollutions, flooding and blockages to determine the likely root cause of the issues that gave rise to these issues. Using this insight to create work packs for field teams to investigate.
3. Acting as the key technical interface with the field teams, directing activities within the field.
4. Recording and analysing the success of the targeting, investigation and resolution activities for both performance reporting and to seek opportunities that develop, improve and drive the process.
5. Customer liaison - The TCI process involves work on customer premises as well as on the street. You will support the actions required to manage the customer interface, keeping customers informed and minimising the impact and disruption to customers during the work
6. You will liaise with regional teams and other central teams to ensure the TCI workstream compliments and aligns with work being undertaken by the regional teams.
What should you bring to the role?
7. Have a passion to improve our environmental performance.
8. Have previous experience from working in a similar role or industry.
9. Experience in planning or analysing technical or field operations.
10. Experience in positively influencing and working collaboratively with all levels of an organisation to achieve improved business outcomes.
11. Qualification in an environmental, science, data, mathematical or engineering discipline.
12. Full driving licence as travel is required.
