Paint Operative (Powder Coating)- Evening Shift (Monday to Thursday 38 hours per week)

As a Paint Operative on our Evening Shift, you will work as part of a team in material preparation for powder coating in accordance with internal specifications while maintaining uninterrupted production according to operational demands, prescribed tolerances, quality standards and safety requirements.
Main Responsibilities include:
* Preparing parts for powder coating by cleaning, blowing down, bunging & sanding as necessary.
* Applying powder coating using electrostatic spray guns to the desired DFT.
* Quality inspection of powder coated parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
* Operate curing ovens to cure powder coated surfaces.
* Filling, sanding, and smoothing surfaces that need to be powder coated.
* Experienced in using & maintaining air-fed respiratory equipment.
* Mechanical knowledge to operate power tools and hand tools effectively.
* Ability to maintain high-quality standards in a fast-paced work environment.
* Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high quality finishes.
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
* Minimum 1 year experience in powder coating within a manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of various coating types and their applications would be advantageous.
