About the Position
We are looking for an experienced clinician to work as a Functional Assessor, using your clinical skills in a new way while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.
What You’ll Be Doing Each Day
* Carry out functional assessments with claimants face‑to‑face, via video or telephone to assess their ability to undertake activities of daily living.
* Ask focused questions, use active listening and critical reasoning skills to gather accurate information.
* Produce high‑quality, structured clinical reports on all claimants for submission to the DWP.
* Review evidence, request and evaluate additional evidence when required, and clinically triage cases to determine the correct assessment pathway.
* Work alongside other highly experienced clinical colleagues to ensure high‑quality and fair assessments for all claimants.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum of 12 months post‑qualification and registration experience.
* Practiced as a clinician for the last 12 months in the UK.
* Registered with the NMC as an Adult Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or with the HCPC as a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Paramedic.
* Excellent communication and critical‑thinking skills.
* Confident typing and computer proficiency.

Salary
£39,011 – £41,011 per annum + up to 10% annual bonus, £2,000 referral scheme and pension.
