Job Overview
Medical Staffing Administrator - 30 hours - Permanent - Band 3
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Administrator with strong mathematical skills to join our Anaesthetic and Critical Care team at Tameside Hospital.
The post holder will provide effective administrative support to the Anaesthetic and Critical Care Department, working independently and as part of a team, including Rota Master and the Directorate.
Responsibilities include coordinating rotas, booking bank or locum doctors, processing payments, and producing schedules and reports for internal stakeholders.
The ideal candidate should be willing to assist others, prioritize tasks to meet deadlines, and ensure smooth management of doctors' schedules.
Responsibilities
* Maintain Medical and Dental Trust systems (CLW, DRS, TEMPre, Patchwork), accurately record and deactivate starters and leavers, upload and delete locum shifts, and keep staffing trackers updated.
* Record sickness and schedule Return to Work interviews in Deputy Directorate Managers' diaries.
* Process annual and study leave for medical staff in accordance with Trust policies.
* Ensure compliance with systems related to locum CVs, GMC checks, references, VISA/Right to Work, vaccinations, and DBS.
* Extract data from the e-Job Planning system and generate reports and graphs using Microsoft Excel.
* Assist with medical staffing queries during working hours.
* Perform other duties as delegated by Directorate Managers.
Knowledge and Skills
* Excellent communication skills to convey staffing information courteously and professionally.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
